Eucharistic Committee

This ministry allows individuals to participate more actively in the Eucharistic celebration. Eucharistic Ministers are involved in both the opening and closing processions, preparing the altar for the celebration and helping the Priest to distribute the Eucharist (sometimes under both species). Sometimes Eucharistic Ministers are also called to bring the Eucharist to the sick or housebound.
If you would like to be a Eucharistic Minister, all you need is an outstretched hand and a warm smile. Ministers receive training for their role. They are required be present 15 minutes before the Mass they are serving. We welcome all who would like to become a Eucharistic Minister.
