Prayer Meeting 8 P.M. Wednesdays Downstairs in the Parish Hall
A weekly gathering of Christians to give praise, thanks, honour to Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.
How long is a Prayer Meeting?
Normally 1-1/2 hours(see Matthew 26,40 "Could you not spend I hour with me?")
What is the "Baptism in the Spirit?"
It is the RELEASE of the POWER of the Holy Spirit within us, helping us to appreciate Jesus, the Bible, our daily prayer life, our faith in a deeper way. The "Baptism" has been an important event in the lives of many Christians.
How can I grow Spiritually?
Attend weekly prayer meetings, read the scriptures daily (15 minutes recommended), talk to the Lord throughout the day and take time to listen to Him through prayer.
Short courses (such as the Life in the Spirit Seminars) are offered from time to time.
Where can I read about the Holy Spirit in the scriptures?

What should I keep in mind when attending prayer meetings?
Come at least 5 times before making a decision. It takes time to understand how the Spirit is working. Pray as you feel comfortable (and let others do the same). Reflect on Jesus and you, not on others. All ages are welcome - we are all children of God. You are with friends. If you have questions, Please do not hesitate to ask.
" My prayer is that your love for each other may increase more and never stop improving your knowledge and deepening your perception so that you may always recognize what is best. This will help you to become pure and spotless and prepare for the Day of Christ when you will reach the perfect goodness which Jesus Christ produces in us for the glory and praise of God."

OTHER ACTIVITIES: Life in the Spirit Seminars Teachings Men's Breakfast Fellowship
The seminar serves the vision of renewal expressed by Pope John XXIII on the eve of the second Vatican Council: "Renew in our days your wonders as of a new Pentecost..."
The sessions consist of talks, reflections, discussions, prayer for healing of memories and prayer for the baptism (release) of the Holy Spirit. The life in the Spirit is intended to be a faith - building experience conducted in an atmosphere of prayer and praise in openness to the charismatic gifts of the Spirit.

PEOPLE OF PEACE PROPHECY
My peace be in you. My peace be of You. My peace flows from you. You have believed in me and I have given you My Spirit that you might know me. As you come to know me you have come to trust me. I am asking you to trust with complete abandonment. I have shown you that you can indeed trust me. In this total trusting will come your strength which is my peace within you.
Peace comes from harmony within the body, when all members work as one. There is no harmony, in confusion, in uncertainty, or in apartness. You cannot all pursue a different dream. There is but one vision for all of you. Allow me to fill you with my peace. Let it become a calm, still, deep pool within you, the source of your strength against anything that may come against you.
In this peace which cannot be shattered you shall prevail for my name's sake. People will find refreshment in this pool of peace. Weary, frightened and buffeted ones will be drawn into my peace. I am calling you to be My People of Peace.
